The Playa Grande Golf Course, which many feel is one of the best courses in the Caribbean, is a scant 15 minutes from Cabrera and only an hour from the Sosua/Cabarete area. Coined as the 'Pebble Beach of the Caribbean' with 10 of its magical 18 holes hugging the rugged coastline atop soaring sea cliffs with pounding surf at their feet, the course is as beautiful as it is challenging.
